  1. It is so important that we use our American right to free speech to find our voice and make known what goes on behind closed doors. If not for the benefit of our own children, at least to blaze a trail and help future generations shed the hurt and abuse from being alienated from one of their parents.

    • Miriam, I just purchased the kindle version. I also promoted your book via my Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter. Thank you for writing this. I will be sending you an invitation to contribute.

      • Thanks we need to all join forces. This isn’t about my story, or your story, but the fact that the stories continue to keep coming. It is unbelievable to me that this travesty continues. I am nudging my son to write and get involved, but boys sometimes take longer to confront their feelings. It seems even if they were mistreated, or abused, they still seek their father’s approval. I want my son to have the best possible relationship he can with his father, as I think it is so important to his self-esteem.

My son still blames himself for everything that happened, that is what a good job his father did at brain-washing him. So though we talk about it, it comes out in small bits and pieces. And I don’t want to put him on the defensive, as I fear it would be too much for him to handle and I want him to go at his own pace.

      • I’m so sorry your son is shouldering the blame of the alienation. I hope those who had an alienating parent can find each other like we have. I pray this happens soon.
